Dating back to the 1940s, the evolution of the aesthetics of this building began to differ from the surrounding vernacular of Biltmore Village. By removing and replacing several pieces of this portion of the building, ARCA is able to re-establish its original appearance according to historical data. The aesthetic qualities are now similar and reflective to the quaint and charming qualities of Biltmore Village. As the exterior of the building underwent several minor changes, the interior of the building began to evolve from a small humble picture frame store to a modern day boutique that embraces the existing architectural elements.
