Bryan was born in Greensboro and spent his childhood in Pleasant Garden and upper Randolph county. He graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, enjoyed his years at NC State University, and worked with T.C. Howard of Synergetics, Inc. After moving to Asheville in 2000, Bryan has sought to hone his craft while working on commercial and institutional projects throughout Western North Carolina, the Piedmont, and Tennessee.
Combining a delight in technical details with an understanding of construction practices, Bryan attempts to create practical, cost-effective solutions that make the best use of the client’s resources in pursuit of the client’s goals. Adept in a number of architectural languages, Bryan’s work has found a home in rural, urban and historical settings.
Bryan is honored to be LeAnn’s husband, Lily and Owen’s father, and enjoys his activities serving God through teaching at Biltmore Church. Bryan currently serves the City of Asheville and Buncombe County as the chairman of the Downtown Commission, as well as other local boards and commissions.
