David was born in Asheville, NC and has called Western North Carolina home ever since. After graduating from North Buncombe High School, he studied at NC State University where he received a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture and a Master’s in Architecture.
The NCSU College of Design taught him to value the continuous opportunities afforded by life for creative thinking. During his studies, he took part in the Asheville Design Build Studio in the Summer of 2015. This studio, which he thoroughly enjoyed, gave him hands-on experience with several trades and a passion for working in the area.
After graduating in December 2015, David and his wife, Jennah, moved back to the area from Raleigh, NC. They began life together in August of that year. They enjoy hiking, slacklining and attending Fellowship Asheville Church with friends and family.
In February 2016, David joined the team here at ARCA Design and says he continues to learn every day. He is excited to put his skillsets into action and to give back to his community through the practice of architecture.
